Q: We need an event photographer! Can you photograph our event?

A: Send an email to jd @ 87gt .com to discuss openings. I am based in Old Bridge, NJ and frequently shoot in NYC, NJ, and Eastern PA.

Q: What type of payment do you take?

A: All print purchases are placed though our professional printing lab. They accept all major credit cards. Rights to pictures, packages, and sitting fees can be paid through Paypal or check.

Q: The online images are small, a bit pixilated, and say PROOF. What my actual prints will look like?

A: Our website is optimized for all internet connection speeds and therefore images are compressed for rapid loading and previewing of our patrons. Your photos will be color corrected and tweaked for optimum presentation. We leave cropping the photograph up to you during checkout so you can tweak the photo to you liking! Prints ordered will not have our name, logo, or be watermarked in any way.

Q: Do you guarantee your prints?

A: If you are unhappy with your prints or gifts, email help@smugmug.com and jd @ 87gt.com and explain the situation. Smugmug (printers) will reprint or refund your order, whichever you prefer within 30 days. Tallman Photo will do whatever we can to touch up the problem with the photo.

Q: What finish should I get? What is Matte, Gloss, and Lustre?

A: Matte has a low reflective finish. Gloss has a high reflective finish. Lustre is a textured finish the shimmers Glossy in light and resists fingerprints very well.

Q: How large of I print can I order?

A: As long as the original image has not been excessively cropped and has low noise you can easily order up to a standard 20"x30" or "Prints for Small Cameras" 30"x40" print and expect a photo quality image. The printing service is pretty good about limiting prints based on available pixel size. If you would like a SUPER SIZE print, please email jd @ 87gt.com and we can discuss getting a huge C-Print made. We have printing labs in NYC that can handle these specialized orders.

Q: When I order the digital file of a photo, what do I get?

A: You will get the full resolution JPEG released to you for use. Please read the licenses carefully during ordering and choose between personal and business use. Tallman Photo retains the copyright on all photographs.

Q: How long will it take to get my photos/files?

A: Print orders are typically received within 7 shipping days of payment. All prints are sent from our professional printing lab in Georgia via USPS. Photos I have ordered from them were double boxed, and my "waterdrop" 20"x24" print was rolled in a hard cardboard tube.

Q: Do you offer expedited service/shipping?

A: Our professional printing lab offers expedited shipping on all prints. Pricing varies on delivery options and location.
